Watercolor Workshop on the Waterfront, Flathead Lake, Montana

A unique, easy, and relaxing 2-day watercolor workshop (join us for one or two days) and an ideal location with stunning views.

Whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced professional artist wanting to brush up on your skills, this class is for all levels.

I’ll supply paper, paints and brushes in water color. Should you desire another medium- feel free to “Bring it” !

I am a painter and product designer who loves nature-oriented travel. After an injury, I turned to watercolor painting as a way to recover and recharge. I moved from Chicago and am very active in both the Vail, Colorado and Saugatuck, Michigan arts scene. However i have had a lot of requests for Travel and here we go! My work is sold through galleries and commissions. My style is a fresh take on impressionism, and I enjoy both water color and oil painting.

  • Arrival 10-1 pm, we will be working outside “Plein Air” style at the waterfront. We will have two dogs on site just as an FYI- both are very friendly,

  • This is a class for both experienced artists and absolute beginners to brush up on techniques and learn my painting “hacks”. We will warm up with some exercises and my goal is to have a frameworthy piece of art for you to take home. Plan to bring a cardboard or other tube/portfolio to transport your artwork with you.

  • We will provide healthy beverages, snacks and materials for class.

Lodging costs are NOT included in the workshop price.

However, our recommendation is the somewhere. near Whitefish or Somer Montana- the Big Fork Arts Festival will be happening this weekend.

  • We may decide to attend after our workshop … tbd https://bigfork.org/event/festival-of-the-arts-3/2026-08-01/
