“I found myself feeling very grounded and connected internally when reading about your Peace Cards. If I am feeling this from reading the description, I imagine it would help a lot to create a "Peace Card” composition." I'm really struck by how much art therapy and exploration through writing can get at grief on different levels. It really feels like it gets to the grief that is "trapped," which is so powerful and amazing to offer others an outlet for that through your Peace Cards for Humanity.”

The GrowthTripp Method™

A structured, creative approach to emotional processing and forward movement.

Tripp’s unique offering: Peace Cards for Humanity.

Peace Cards grew out of both personal loss and professional insight. I was listening to the Huberman podcast featuring Dr. Ethan Kross, author of Chatter, where they were discussing ways to work with the inner voice and process difficult emotional experiences. They mentioned expressive writing therapy and the idea that writing for as little as 15 minutes a day can be helpful. But it also made me think about something very simple: as human beings, we naturally resist effort. We tend to conserve it.

After my father passed away when I was 17, the support I received was traditional talk therapy. I committed to it for over two years, and while it was helpful, it was also emotionally demanding, time-consuming, and difficult to sustain. That experience stayed with me and shaped the question that would later guide my work: how can healing be made more accessible, more humane, and less intimidating?

As I developed my curriculum, I wanted to create a method that would ease people into processing grief, trauma, and emotional pain. Drawing from sensory integration, perception psychology, color work, and my background in design, I created Peace Cards as a structured yet intuitive tool.

The system uses cards based on sound, color, smell, and timeless symbols of forgiveness. Participants choose 4 cards, either randomly or intentionally, from a deck of 56 cards what resonates with them, then begin to create an image. The cards become a springboard, helping the user think about how to express themselves. Here is the magical thing of Peace Cards for Humanity: You don’t need to have the right words to begin! We start with image, color, and guided prompts, a simple way to access what is often hard to articulate.

Using simple materials like watercolor, colored pencils, etc., music can be played, candles can be lit, notes can be written, and conversation can unfold naturally. The process creates a gentle buffer—space to feel, reflect, and express yourself.
